The short answer
WE sells two Mobile Egypt plans to tourists: 100 pounds for 5 GB and 300 pounds for 20 GB, each valid 30 days, before tax. WE says its eSIM can only be activated and downloaded inside Egypt, so it cannot be set up before you fly.

The eSIM rule
WE says its eSIM can only be activated and its profile downloaded inside Egypt.
After the data runs out
WE says Mobile Egypt keeps unlimited internet at a throttled speed once the plan's data is used.
At Cairo airport
The airport's shop list places Telecom Egypt in Terminal 3 and the Airmall.
What this means for the eSIM on this site
The plans on this site are not lines from this network. They are Africa regional plans that roam on an Egyptian partner network, and your phone shows that network’s name once it connects. Turn on data roaming for the eSIM line only.
A line bought in a shop in Egypt needs your original passport and a document for your permitted stay, and it is linked to that stay. An eSIM bought here is installed at home, before the flight.
